Step 3: Press the 'Pairing' button for for 2-3

econds separately on both the HB-Rx

receiver module and on the Right side

of the transmitter until the LED flashes

alternating Red/Blue indicating units

are ready to be paired.

Pairing Ready = Alternating Red/Blue

Note:

Steady flash indicates that the

units are looking for an ID match.

Step 4: Locate the IR lens on the Left side of the

transmitter unit (opposite side from the

pairing button). While both units are in

the pairing-ready mode; point the trans-

mitter IR lens at the HB-Rx module LED /

IR lens from a maximum distance of

1 meter / 3 feet for at least 3-4 seconds.

The alternating blue/red flash sequence

will commence a FAST FLASHING

SEQUENCE FOR 2-3 SECONDS result-

ing in a SOLID blue LED condition indi-

cating that the link is made and broad-

casting can begin.

Paired = Blue LED Solid.

Transmitter

Step 5: Once units are linked and broadcasting; it is time to set

microphone VOLUME, BASS and TREBLE on the HB-2PA

preamplifier module to desired levels. Level adjustments

are made using the convenient knobs on the HB-2PA.

Additional audio gain adjustment can be made on the HB-

1S Amplifier card in the HNB-A unit.

Note: All HNB microphone volumes are adjusted on the

HB-2PA Preamp card using the microphone volume (MIC

VOL) knob.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Refer to section 6.2 HB-2PA Preamp card adjustments for 'Duck

override' of source audio when microphones are activated.
